This was a tough call. The ice cream is very good. The detractors are too much topping (I know, hard to believe) and cash only. If you are close worth a visit otherwise you can do better.

Great stop along Route 2 for ice cream. They have a sherbet special, my favorite is lime, closely followed by orange twist with vanilla. Great prices. They’re open from late spring to early autumn.

YES! An ice cream stop in an important birding area and part of our vists to the location whenever we come to this part of the state. There is even good birding around the site. Good ice cream and friendly service.

The best shakes I have ever had 40 mile drive 1 way but a go often when they are open.

I came here for lunch when I visited Magee Marsh. It was close, open on Memorial Day, staffed by energetic young girls, and food was classic. Malted milkshake was the platonic ideal of malted milkshakes. Bratwurst and hot dog were also good choices. Pulled pork sandwich was okay.

First time here and after waiting for nearly an hour for the drive thru I see that they are cash only. Would be nice to have a sign along the road stating such, as not everyone has cash. And had I not I would have waited an hour in line for nothing. Ice cream is good but, would I had known BEFORE getting in line, I might have given more stars.
